Our Shareholders
As of 31 December 2016, total number of issued and fully paid shares is 24,241,508,196 shares. The Republic of Indonesia is the majority shareholder that owns 56.96% of shares and one series A Dwiwarna share which has special voting rights.
The Dwiwarna Share can not be transferred, has special rights in terms of capital changes, appointment and termination of the members of the Board of Directors and the Board of Commissioners, Articles of Association, merger, consolidation, and acquisition, as well as dissolution and liquidation of the Company.

PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk is an Indonesia-based company primarily engaged in the transportation and trading of natural gas. It classifies its business into four segments: Transmission/Transportation, Distribution/Commerce, Oil and Gas and Other.
Its Transmission/Transportation segment transports natural gas owned by shipper to the delivery point through high-pressure transmission pipelines.
Its Distribution/Commerce segment distributes natural gas to commercial, industrial and household users.
Its Oil and Gas segment consists of activities and investments in oil and gas upstream sector.
The activities included in its Other segment are telecommunication, services, construction and maintenance of pipeline networks, building management and financial lease.
These activities are operated through its subsidiaries: PT PGAS Telekomunikasi Nusantara, which leases fiber optic network capacity, and PT PGAS Solution, which provides engineering, construction and maintenance services.
