The Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan Inc., also referred to as PotashCorp, is a Canadian corporation based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The company is the world's largestpotash producer and the third largest producers of nitrogen and phosphate, three primary crop nutrients used to produce fertilizer.

The Mosaic Company (Mosaic) is a producer and marketer of combined concentrated phosphate and potash crop nutrients. It is a single source supplier of phosphate-and potash-based crops nutrients and animal feed ingredients. It operates in two segments: Phosphates and Potash. Its Phosphates segment owns and operates mines and production facilities in Florida. Its Potash segment owns and operates potash mines and production facilities in Canada and the United States, which produce potash-based crop nutrients, animal feed ingredients and industrial products. The Company mines phosphate rock in Florida and processes rock into finished phosphate products at facilities in Florida and Louisiana. It mines potash in Saskatchewan, New Mexico and Michigan. In March 2014, the Company announced that it has completed the acquisition of the phosphate business of CF Industries, Inc.
CF Industries Holdings, Inc. is a North American manufacturer and distributor of agriculturalfertilizers, based in Deerfield, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. It was founded in 1946 as the Central Farmers Fertilizer Company, and for its first 56 years, it was afederation of regional agricultural supply cooperatives.[3] CF then demutualized, and made an initial public offering of shares of equity stock in 2005.[3]
Yara International ASA is a Norwegian-based chemical company. Its largest business area is the production of nitrogen fertilizer,[2][3] however it also encompasses the production of dry ice,nitrates, ammonia, urea and other nitrogen-based chemicals.
