OMV AG is an international oil and gas company engaged in the upstream and downstream businesses.
The Company's segments include Exploration and Production (E&P), Gas and Power (G&P) and Refining and Marketing (R&M).
OMV's E&P business segment operates in Romania, Austria, Norway, New Zealand, Australia, Tunisia, Libya, the United Kingdom, Pakistan, Yemen, Iraq, Kazakhstan, the United Arab Emirates and Bulgaria.
OMV had proven reserves of approximately 1.1 billion barrel of oil equivalent (boe) at year-end and a production of 309 thousand barrel of oil equivalent per day (kboe/d) in the fiscal year ended December 31, 2014.
The G&P segment consists of gas logistics; supply, marketing and trading, and power businesses.
The Central European Gas Hub is a gas trading platform on the gas routes from East to West and also operates a gas exchange.
The R&M business segment operates three refineries: Schwechat (Austria) and Burghausen (Southern Germany), and the Petrobrazi refinery (Romania).

OMV operates a gas pipeline network in Austria and gas storage facilities in Austria and Germany.
In 2014, gas sales volumes amounted to 123 TWh.
