1. 现增金額: 1,480,846,345.00 Reais. ==> 1美元 : 2.4 ==> 617,019,310 (6.17億美金)

2. Total Equity TTM (5.64 billion USD) 5640.171 millions USD as per http://www.gurufocus.com/financials/CIG

3. 现增金額 0.617 billion USD much less than 淨值 5.64 billion USD ==> 0.617/5.64 = 0.109

4. 结論: 現增小於淨值的一半, only 10.9%, 所以OK.

我猜可能與以前的配息（interest on equity) 原因相同：

從CIG跟TNH的案例中可以看得出來高配息股因為保留盈餘低
所以容易受外在環境影響之後沒有足夠餘力使用回購庫藏保護股價
不過我個人也持有不少CIG...
其實很多台灣公司也是高配息...同樣的問題也容易發生在台灣公司身上

巴西最近的股價下跌有不少成分是從匯價來的...( 2 -> 2.4 )
最近TEO也是因為強勢美元的關係跌得很兇

現金增資券商系統會 E-Mail 通知我在美股遇過 1 次現金增資 3 次收購
現增部分因可認購股數很少，我選擇放棄參與現增
也省去郵寄文件麻煩
收購部分，當消息公布時被收購公司股價會漲到貼近收購價
我的作法直接在市場賣掉股票，再去找下一檔好股票

股東通知書如下, 提到的是(Capital Reserve Account), 中文應該就是資本公積金帳戶的意思吧, 再提到的是 stock dividend (配股), 而不是拆股 (stock split). 如果真有增資, 股本應有增加, 如果只是拆股, 股本應該就不會有改變. 還有是發行特別股 (Preferred shares).

勿憂!  何以故? 1/13/2014以前配股是屬於你的, 你的權益有賣方出據給你的 Due Bill (性質就像 promissory notes 本票期票一樣, 出據者需履行贖回) .  ADR record date 是 12/26/2013, 所以是先配送給你的賣方, 但他還是要轉交給你的 1/15/2014之後, my friend.

最快1/15/2014你的券商應會收到你的配股, 如有配息, 在下次配息日會一並給你 as per SEC filing by CEMIG.

ADR Record date:  12/26/2013
ADR payable date:  1/10/2014 (Friday)
ADR Ex date established by NYSE: 1/13/2014 (Monday) (price of stock adjusted for stock dividend)

例如

這種情形該怎麼看待呢?

如果當時是因預報率>15% 進去買的
可是現在去查盈再表反倒是當時買貴了
若現在又進場了
會不會淑價又下修了呢

今天把CIG歷年以來的年配息製成一表.
從1996年以來, 只有2004年沒有配息.
1996至2013, 一共配出現金 USD $25.9641557
平均每年配出 USD $1.442453094

假設平均每股成本為 $10, (10/1.442453094)=6.93年即可回收成本.
第七年以後就可以享受母雞下蛋的投資盈餘!

不管CIG漲跌, 只管每年是否有收到現金股利.

1. Stock dividend 即是 Stock split.  也就是配股與拆股是一樣的意思, 當配股(stock dividend)比例超過25 %就稱為拆股(stock split)
The NYSE and market practice dictate that a stock dividend of 25% or more be classified as a stock split.  Essentially, a stock split is a very large stock dividend.  In addition, please note that the majority of all stock splits are payable in additional (“new”) shares of stock as a stock distribution.  A stock split or stock dividend does not affect the equity of existing shareholders.

In light of the fact that this distribution is over 25%, the NYSE instituted Due Bills and a deferred “Ex” date on this corporate event.  Basically, this is done to keep liquidity in the marketplace, thus avoiding margin calls (if the stock were to go ex in NY on the same day as in Brazil, before the credit of the "new" ADS shares, the price of the stock would be adjusted or devalued to reflect the split/stock dividend, but investors would not have the shares for the collateral so they would have to put up cash).  The NYSE will defer trading the security "Ex" until one day after the ADR payable date.

Essentially, a due bill is a document delivered by a seller of a security to a buyer evidencing that any principal and interest, dividends or distributions received by the seller past the record date will be paid to the buyer by the seller upon submission of the due bill for redemption. 有用的資訊

小弟手上也持有不少CIG股票
而且目前也沒有打算賣掉的意思
遵守Mike的水位控制原則
CIG拿在手上也還算安心

CIG ADR主要的問題是受到巴西匯率的影響
有興趣的同學可以直接拿巴西里爾的走勢圖對照CIG ADR的走勢可以說是一模一樣
因為是高配息股的關係如果美元強勢 ADR的價值相對就下降了
巴西里爾大約跌了20% 所以CIG ADR大約也跌差不多的%數

其實觀察Mike當初買VALE的成本價(約19.58)
跟目前VALE的價位 ( 約14.38 )
虧損幅度也是大約20~30%左右

只能說非美市場的風險等級明顯高於美國
在布局上建議是要更小心的去規劃
一點淺見~

我 cig 買得夠便宜, 沒賠錢, 有賺錢！之前配股; 之後配息都正常, 準備慢慢放著等貴了才賣, 因為殖利率蠻高的！

不計股息，小賠。如果算入股息，應該小賺
目前賠最多的是C0H

就算C0H，vale,hlf,賠錢
但
整體績效還是賺
